Spent the weekend up at my buddys hunt camp in Nelson County VA which is pretty close to Crozet and did an afternoon ride out at Crabtree Falls about 10 min from camp. Crabtree Falls is kind of like a really long Richland Rd. Old unmaintained road running through some National Wilderness land. Took us about 3.5 hours to run it all the way to the bottom of the mountain hitting all the little playgrounds and watching a big group of Jeeps spot a brand new JK up one of the optional lines. It would be a solid fun day ride for the sissy trucks. Not much for anything bigger though. Matt's double locked Cherokar on 33's walked just about every line there as dry as it was.

Started the day with replacing the tie rod and drag link on Matt's Cherokar with some new pieces from Jody at Carolina Axle and 4x4.

It sure could Robert. Could be a little slippery after a rain as some sections are clay/rock kind of like Uwharrie. We came across everything from a Sami on 31's to stock JK's (non-boobicon) on some AT's. There was only one spot that held me up for a minute being open/open and most of that I attribute to driver error. Kind of like Crozet, all the rock in those woods have tons of traction for whatever reason. Matt hardly slipped a tire on some of the bigger ledges and optional lines.
