#1- I need to put a tcase behind my R151. I have a topshift and a forward shift case. I'm going to be building one with 23spl Marlin gears, 30spline F&R outputs. I plan to build a spare stock case with my stock 23 spine inut gear.
Whats the best route to do this? I know I need top shift rails for twinsticks, which I have.

#2 I'm cleaning up all my vac lines and nonsense wiring in the engine bay, whatever that may be. Does anyone have a link to doing this or can name some stuff off the top of their head? I'm deleting all vac lines, not going to need them in the buggy. Whats the best way to clean up and cap all the ports?

Thanks, Josh

I have an 86 4runner SAS, rebuilt engine, blah, blah,blah........

I am running a vac line from the break booster to the intake, cpv to intake, fuel pressure regulator to front of throttle body, and the two vac lines on the distributor are ran one to the throttle body and one to the intake. No egr on my motor. I will take a picture and post it. Very simple set up. Not counting the large preformed vaccuum lines I only have about 3. As for wiring I really do not know how much more simple it gets. We do not have a lot of junk on the 22re. I have no ac on mine so that helps. I also have none of those little vaccum filter diaphrams that you see on some trucks.

I deleted my EGR and every vacuum line except the booster and fuel pressure regulator. Runs so much better.

Josh,

My old build thread of the deere had a very detailed section in it of the vaccum delete that I did.

It doesn't matter. It just needs vacuum.

lol, the more I thought about it...thats what I got d'oh!

While I have your attention....What do I need to do(if anything) to run a topshift case behind a forward shift r151 other than the block off plate for the tcase shifter? I was going to just run a forward shift case until I realized my davez offroad twin sticks I got with a project are top shift.

You could give me the twin sticks and use your forward shift case. Very Happy
