I'm new here so I guess I'll go ahead post this. I bought her about a yr and a half ago after I sold my 93 Accord rice burner. That car caused me way to many problems, everything from actual car problems to the school resource officer. So far I'm happy with my Yota esp. since I have given her lets just say a tuff time off road plenty of times.

Specs.
86 4Runner
22RE 176k
5spd
stock 4.10 gears
35x12.5R15 Pro Comp Xterrains
Trailmaster 4"

So this is when I first bought her. Drove her over an hr back to my house. Top speed on the interstate is well 65, she'll only do 70 down hill or wide ass open in 4th. Gotta love stock gearing.

Since then I got a new windshield in her, old one was cracked. And re-did the int a little. Just bedlined the floor and painted a few things.

Other than changing the oil and cleanin the plugs I havent done much else to her other than little things. Added in my CB, two new speakers, fixed the blower motor, changed a u joint (almost broke it in half). That and today I finally painted my mirrors OD green.

Her first snow, or at least with her in my name

Damage toll:
u-joint
tailight
rear quater dent
tailgate dent
fuel door bent and ripped off
tailgate ripped off
rear wheel bearings
frt diff support bolt broke

Future plans:
enclose cab and chop off everything else and just leave skins
f150 sprins and 8"ish strecth in the rear
sas in frt with toy axle
5.29 or 4.88 gears
doubler
lockers

Goal is to keep as low as possible on 35's and maybe 37's down the road.[/list]

Put some gauges in to keep an eye on the 22RE. Oil pressure at idle sucks (500rpm/5-10psi) need to rise the idle back up a little. But under throttle shes kicks out good pressure 40-65.

I also got new wheels the ally ones wallowed out so i got some steel 15x10, while i was at it repacked the front wheel bearings and painted the lock in/out hub.

Re-did the exh the other day because I had to. The pipe had split right after the collecter . Took it off and welded it back up and in the procees go rid of my low hanging side exit no muffler and cat set up. In place I put a flowmaster and left the cat off.
Mock up

Halfway through when I was welding the mig took a ˟˟˟˟ and the only other welder we had was a 220 arc. So I had my buddy weld it up since I can't arc weld.

It sounds a whole lot better and not there is no rattles and it's not visble from the side. Still need to make a more permanent hanger for the muffler. Hung up with some wire right now. I'm also gonna run the rest of it out the back or side not sure which yet.

Over the past couple of months I fixed the oil leak (new vc gasket, oil pan gasket, frt cover gaskets), replaced the rear shoes, and replace the left rear wheel bearing. Also the other week got my new skyjacker nitros.

Here's the old shocks as you can tell the rears are two different.

Finally got to cut the front bumpstops off. Now I actually have shock clearance. I might un crank the t-bars this week if I have a chance to get it off the upper bumpstop.

Here's the most recent picture. Hopefully I'll be able to get up to URE here soon. Might lower the front first before I go still unsure if I will or not.

Yeah I'll start cuttin sooner or later. I'm still thinking of how Iwant to cut the rear. I was thinking something similiar to a jeep comp cut to make body work easier. Along with a pickup tailgate and taillight filler panel with the oval round trailer lights.
