Came across this gem on CL, and I'm really looking at getting it.

Specs:

2008 Nickelodeon 12" Girls' Dora the Explorer Bike:

Quick-release seat post for quickly growing kids
Pretty pink Dora the Explorer sidewalk bicycle design
Children's sidewalk bike
Steel frame with low standover height
Gearing: single speed
Screen printed children's saddle seat
Brakes: rear coaster brake
Wheels: 16-spoke steel wheels
Pedals: resin platform pedals
2-piece steel handlebars
Bonus bell, streamers and handlebar bag
Dimensions: 36.8"L x 7.5"W x 18"H
Adjustable driver seat.

Sellers add really sold it.

Your ready for adventure aren't you? (Yes?) With this Nickelodeon 12" girls' bike you can go anywhere, and tow anything. (Really?) Yes. This Dora the Explorer sidewalk bicycle is equipped with a bell (for telling stupid diesel tow rigs to move over as you drag your load up Black Mtn, and Fancy Gap.), streamers (Cuz there B.A.) and a handlebar bag to carry any gear you may need on the way (Not shown). Your manly ass will love the Dora design accessories, while you will love the secure stopping power of its coaster brakes and its sturdy training wheels for stability, even towing something as HUGE as a 87 4runner on 35s. It has NEW tires, with DEEP tread that can handle even the nastiest camp grounds. We guarantee you wont be disappointed with your decision to buy this "Hoss" of a bicycle. From its HID front reflector to it low pro. rear reflector, this truly is one SWEET ride that you will be proud to own. Asking $47.89.

Looks fairly stable. Probably more difficult to flop in the mud and ice. What are the HP and TQ numbers?

Its MINE!!! Cool

Went a picked it up today. 221k on the clock. Transmission shifts really nice, and the motor is strong. It has an AFE intake, and straight pipe. Other than that its stock. The body is rougher than I would like, but for what I payed.... she'll do!

Thanks guys. I hooked the trailer up and loaded the 4runner yasterday. It pulls really nice. The motor feels really strong (compaired to a 3rz Rolling Eyes ). The transmission feels good too. The transmission doesnt really like WOT with the trailer. It just feels funny, Not like anything is wrong, just doent like it.

You know I would post pics, but it was dark so I got nothing. Lucky you!

Side note... The tailgate doesnt open.. Confused It opened once Saturday, but when I tryed to open it again nothing. The handle feels like it doesnt have anything hooked to it. I can hear it making noise, but nothing happends. I thought I would pop the back panel off and check it out, but there is no back panel. The tailgate is all once peace. Maybe the tailgate handle comes out and I can figure somthing out there? I did find some little tabs by both latches. When you push them up it releases the latch it is next too. So I can get it to open that way.

I bought a new one... a few weeks after I got the truck it sh&%t the bed.

This:

- Rear lube passages drilled to prevent gear-train failure

- Kevlar Heavy Duty Bands

- New OEM Governor Solenoid and Transducer as well as speed sensor and shift solenoids

- Higher clutch count in the direct drum and OD clutches for 50% more holding power!

- 5 forward, 6 direct, 10 OD direct, 6 OD clutches

- High energy red eagle clutches, kolene steels and kevlar heavy duty bands

- Billet band servo, cover and apply lever

- “Unbreakable” band strut

- Custom Valve body for more holding power, higher line pressure, smoother/quicker shifts, cooler flow modifications (aka transgo shift kit)

- Transmission circulates fluid through the cooler in Park (a must for trucks left idling after racing or heavy pulls)

Included is our Custom Heavy-Duty low stall, billet cover torque converter. (multi-disc upgrade available)

I talked to a few people on Cummins Forum, and they have this transmission and really like it. Once I get a few other things fixed, I want to gauge it up and pick up an Edge comp box, RV275 injectors, and 5" exhaust.

Been a little bit since I added anything to this thread. Seems like This pile O poop always needs something...

Since I got it the steering has been... loose. I didnt really care too much becuase I was riding on onions and it drove pretty straight. Now that I have 6 new BFGs on it... I care.

I looked around and priced out steering options and desided to give Luke's Links a try. They basically rebuild the existing tie rod ends and track bar end. The kit also come with a new bushing for the track bar. The kit is $325 shipped, and they guys at Luke's Links are there 24/7 to help answer questions, and are SUPER nice and helpful. A complete set of Moog parts from Rock Auto was right at $400. The really nice thing about the Luke's Links are the fact you can tighten them up as they wear.

Also Since I got my truck the AC has not worked. Not a big deal since I almost never drive it in the summer and when I do, the cab is big enough that air moves pretty good. I had also been smelling and seeing signs of a leaky heater core... So right here at the end of the summer... I desided to fix all of the above.. Plus add some sweet moose ears!

I wish I had a new dash pad to replace that old bust POS that in there now...

Word of advice... NEVER buy a cheap diesel.. pay the 5-10k more and get a nice one... you WILL spend all the savings on parts and labor...

Plus I finally fixed that stupid tail gate. 2 washers under each latch bolt and BAM. How does that song go? I have an 8' bed thats never been used...
