Nice truck. You are right though, the rims are fugly. Stock steels would look better than those ghetto @$$ rims.

I've got a set of stock chrome "simulators" that came on my truck. Should fit that truck well. Nice find. Watch the EGR/oil cooler stuff and you should see good service from that truck. Congrats.

I'm gonna try to trade them for some stockers if I can. I think I'll do all the coolant flush tips I have read on Powerstroke forums and an EGR delete kit. Only mods will be intake and exhaust. It runs great as it is.

Drove it to work today. It drives like a gasser. Tons of power. Give me a while to tinker with it and it'll really haul ass. It will be nice to be able to climb hills again.

I'm ready. I need to flush the cooling system this weekend. It takes all day to remove all the Ford garbage and clean everything with the right chemicals etc... Probably gonna straight pipe it instead of buying an exhaust kit.

Only using it for the gauges. Not turning it up until I replace the head studs. The tell-tale sign of trouble with the 6.0 is a difference of more that 15 degrees between engine oil and engine coolant temp. Right now mine is perfect at ~6-8 degrees.

Muffler go bye bye.

On a side note, it looked like some bees had built a nest in the fat part of my exhaust pipe up in front of the muffler. I cleared that shi!t out of there Wink EGT's are much happier now.

HAHA, yeah, those dirt dobbers will get in there and make themselves a nice cat huh?

I'm guessing that truck makes a fairly wild noise now. The exhaust sound on a straight piped 6.0 is unlike any other diesel i know of, and i dig it.

My lil bro had an 06 6.0 Ford w/ a 6 speed. It was juiced up hard core and was a dangerous mo-fo, but it tore up alot. Be careful what you do to it. Good trucks if you drive them right though.
