Ok...so the Xtra Cab has some major issues with the rear suspension. Mainly its stiffer than R. Kelly at recess. It beats the hell out of me on the trail at anything more than "trailriding" speeds and doesn't flex at all.

What are you guys running or what would you recommend?

Right now these are my considerations (no 63" Chevys):

1. Factory rears w/ an extra thin leaf or two and my 2" lift shackles I have sitting in the shop

2. 51" F150 Rears

3. Trail Gear's 4link w/ 16" Fox Air Shocks

4. Marlin/TG/AllPro 3" Lift springs

Go with the F150s. I have heard nothing but good things about them. I was gonna go that route, but Im not gonna bob my runner so the extra length acts as a skid to keep my ass off the ground.

I believe that I have third gen two wheel drive springs on the turbo toy and they do ok. But the allpros on my black truck I have been most pleased with. I would not spend the money to link the rear not worth it in my opinion.. k.I.s.s.

Cost wise the factory rears or F150's are cheapest. I know the AllPro's work like a champ. The ones on Justin's truck have been abused for years and still work...the only issue with those is that I don't have any room to move the rear hanger back to compensate for the extra length of the spring due to how I bobbed the bed and frame.

Yeah....With the way the price of steel has gone up, I'm waiting for the right sized piece of scrap to show up in the bin at one of our local welding shops. Very Happy
