well when i bought the truck it hadnt ran in year and a half so i started today removing the plugs new battery, pull bar to the balancer and giving it a pull to find out that the engine is NOT locked up...installed new battery and gave it a turn over and NOTHING come to find out bam...



the starter is bad so taking it to have it rebuilt tomorrow during work...but here is the good ole 22r needs a washing and some vacuum hoses replaced and other hoses replaced....

well the truck is now running....just after choking half to death on pitch black smoke but she is running so i will be moving on to bobbing the bed and other ideas i have now

That wouldn't be a bad idea since if you ever decide to move your rear perch back it wouldn't be looking retarded. Decide for sure what springs you'll be running in the rear and be done with it the first time. Nice start to a project.

well did some grinding on the truck today and i will be waiting until i install my springs on the rear of my truck before i bob it so i can get it as close as i possibly can

well i purchased 63" Chevy's last night and tore them down at work today and as we speak they are running them through the blast machine at the shop on second shift and im getting our painter to prime and paint them tonight....tomorrow i will finish up the hangers and shackles and i will then take pics..i had nothing to take pics with today

springs are back together and started to disassemble the rear end tonight got all the brake lines parking brake and the shocks off..after work tomorrow im going to remove the leafs and drop the rear out then prep it for installation of the 63's....i will take pics tomorrow after i get everything out and removed

well after work today im removing the rear relocating the hangers front and rear also installing shackles and springs if i have enough daylight...but what yall think about running the stock gears for awhile?

got the front hangers installed now im just waiting on my rear creeper joints so i can finish the rear up and then bob the bed down and get everything installed back into place...

well i tore down the rear diff and welded it up and got it put back together. when my creeper joints come in i will install those and finish the rear up and on memorial day im goin to pick up my extra spring pack and make one for the front and get started on that. will post pics tomorrow
