I wheel an '84 hilux mostly stock. 31" BFG's, 22r, W56, bucket seats out of a 1st gen runner, upgraded the front rotors to vented, power steering off an '83, got a V6 third sitting in the garage waiting for a lockright for Christmas, GM 1 wire alternator to power my 2500 watt power inverter for my window air conditioner or any power tools or my air compressor to fill up tires/run air tools.

Also got an '97 2wd 4 runner limited that's been rolled that's going to get a SAS and 4wd conversion eventiually. But for now it goes to church on sundays and runs backup duty for the hilux which I drive daily and work out of.

New to this site
Mostly stock 22R-never any problems. Replaced all the usual things along the way (clutch, starter etc)-oil changed every 3-5k, ~271K miles. Holes in the bed big enough to throw your hounddog through.
Bed replaced with a fiberglass unit (OEM look-a-like) I highly recommed. Reply if your looking for one.
It's my only means of transportation and I want it to last 4ever. I have visited the websites that have OEM parts diagrams, but hard to locate now. They're useful to me for restoring what I have...any suggestions.
btw: Is there a FSM or parts diagrams for it? Or does 1979-1985 Toyota Pickup and 4-Runner Gasoline FSM 22R-(E)
cover it?
Pics later
thanks to all Pistols
