Which clutch do you guys recommend? I have been looking at the Marlin Ceramic kits, LowRange HD kits, Zoom, and Centerforce. What do you guys recommend. Marlin said it will 2 weeks before they have the kits in stock. Thanks

I'm no expert but.... I have a Centerforce. It was in the truck when I got it several years ago. I've beat on it without mercy since day one. Never even once smelled it burning. I can't tell any bit of difference in the pedal even today. I don't know how long it was in there before I got the truck. I know they're pricey but that's my $.02

I put a Zoom Kevlar clutch in my truck back in 2005. Since then i would guess that i have dumped the clutch at 5000 rpms probably 500 times and basically been as hateful as you could possibly be to a clutch and it is still 100% perfect. It out lasted the first 22r we be built for the truck, and when we put in the new engine about a year ago, the clutch and flywheel still looked like new. They are a little expensive, but in my experience worth every penny. 7 years of wheeling, 1 full season of racing ecors and still going strong.

i have run both a zoom and centerforce. with my condition the zooms
pedal effort was higher than the centerforce. i'm not easy on my clutch
as others will tell you. the centerforce has been in going on 4 years with no problem.

Thanks for all the help guys. I talked to Shawn, and he feels the clutch isn't the problem. He said the truggy has a kevlar zoom clutch. I dropped by AutoZone and picked up a new slave cylinder and master cylinder. I will put them on tomorrow night and see if that fixes it.
