Specs:
1996 Toyota Tacoma Ext. Cab LX
2.7 L 4x4 3.58 gears
It was my second Tacoma the first a 97 was a lemon. Bought it from a family friend who bought it new. Mint condition

Soon after I got it.

Added clear corners, tinted windows and a toolbox

Became a member of TTORA in February in 2006. After reading a lot I knew I wanted a 3in lift, 33x10.50 A/Ts, and Mickey Thompson bullet holes.

Had the local community college machine me a spacer lift and bought some shackles to complete the lift. 15 bucks in a three inch susp. lift

Installed the lift and mounted the tires and wheels on at a friends tires shop.

Added TRD Stickers. Its not a TRD but I think they still look good.

Added a grille guard and reinforced it to the bumper with some angle.

Of course I was in high school and had to have a system. Installed kicker highs, mids, tweeters and kicker sub. Long been removed.

Picture of the Grille Guard reinforced to the bumper.

After playing in the mud

Traded a guy TSLs for these twenties with brand new tires straight out. Had 200 dollars in the TSLs and sold the black wheels for 950.

Bought some 34X10.50 LTBs they fit with the spacer lift minimal rubbing. Still had 3.58s, it sucked. Too busy paying for school to think about dropping 1500 on a regear.

Sold the LTBs for twice what I paid for them and got the 4 runner wheels and 285 MTZs

Christmas Day snow storm. With a stock Enkies and 31x10.50 Bridgestone A/Ts for gas mileage

I have been running the MTZs until last week. I picked up a set of 4.56 locked front and rear diffs from Sleepy in April and installed them last weekend, no pictures of the install way to greasy to use my phone. Install went very smoothly. Used 75w-90 Mobil 1 gear oil. It is an amazing difference so far. I also took off the MTZs and put on a set of 33x10.50R15 tsl radials. I replaced my lower ball joints today. And my upper ball joints will be replaced this week. The boots on the uppers are busted and have lost of play in them so they are way past due for replacement.

Next on the list by mid summer will be:
Transmission and Transfer case fluid change
Toytec Ultimate lift or other Coilover system haven't completely decided yet.
Rear suspension upgrade add-a-leaf and 5100 shocks.
Sliders from EastCoast Gear
Tube style Exhaust Manifold off a 01-04 2.7L, mine is cracked.
Bed lights, tool box light, and engine compartment light.

Things I am looking:
Used Coilover system
Tube style exhaust manifold
ARB Bumper or other plate style bumper

For Sale: Stock front and rear Diffs 3.58.

Bought 255/85R16 KM2s today from discount for 934 out the door instead of bighorns which were the same price. Cheapest I could get big horns was $810 in Rolesville, NC but decided to go with the KM2s.

Recently replaced valve cover gasket and exhaust manifold with a mini header of a 2004.
Changed tranny and t-case fluid with Amsoil 75w90 transaxle lube

Next is a full size spare mount under the bed, sliders, a Toytec Ultimate Susp Lift, and skid plates[/img]

Well slowly but surely my truck is coming together.

Installed the Toytec Ultimate Lift System set at 2.5 inches this past weekend. Mounted a fullsize 33x10.50 BFG AT and added a nice side mount tool box i picked up today for $30.

Next I big purchase will be sliders and hopefully can come across a used ARB one day.

I will be installing a reverse light and rear flood light combo and some bed lights in about two weeks that look like this.http://www.ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21166
