Is anyone running 14" shocks up front? If so I was wondering how you mounted them. I hear some people talking that you have to cut and run them through the fender. If you have any pictures on how you did them that would be great. Thanks.

Buy 14'' shock hoops. Cut stock ones off. Weld new ones on. Attach at top with bolt to new shock hoop. Attach at bottom in original place. You may have to spread the bottom brackets apart alittle on the axle for the new shocks to fit.

I suggest buying the gussets for the shock hoops if they don't come with any.

Hope this helps. Anyone's buildup thread will have pictures. Search.

I wasn't sure if people are cutting the inner fender and running the hoops through the fender. That is what all the dealers of these hoops say to do but I see anyone running them like that,

I would cut a square in the inner fender anyway to make it easier to access everything. Go to the upper most portion of the inner fenderwell.... Pick the highest points, and cut straight up about 6-8 inches apart to the top..... It will make putting the bolts in easier and just general access easier.

Remove front clip. build out of tube. attach hood, fenders, and grill with tabs.
