after putting in my welded rear, I'm getting a lot of axle hop while the wheels are spinning in the sand, I pretty much have to let off completely, and once i touch the gas again it starts back up. Sounds like the truck is going to fall apart and the wheels are hardly spinning.
I pretty much am forced to use 4wd for everything to avoid the axle hop, and there's no fun in that. Do i need to get new shocks, or what else can I do to limit the axle hop?

This will fix it.

But i would guess your problem is most likely worn out springs, and worn out shocks working together to allow the axle to wrap.

I didn't think about one of those. Although the price is a little steep. I guess that's going to be on my list of things to build this summer. THanks
