I have never went that far to go wheel all weekend, what all do you guys take as far as extra parts and stuff? My runner is decently built I guess, but I would like to know what would be some parts that would be A good idea to take. Don't want to have bad luck the 1st day and my weekend be done.

Spare front axles, a spare locking hub or drive flange, and a spare rear driveshaft will get you pretty far. It's also a good idea to bring fluids.

There is a free campground which always has room. There are a bunch of locals that have places to rent out. Finally, there are cabins near the putney side trailhead.

They are always very well ran. When they say "be ready to load up and pull out at 9" you'd better be ready at 9. There will be several groups of varying trucks/abilities and everything is coordinated well. There are a few hotels and several rental houses and cabins to be had. Primitive camping on both sides of the mountain. Takeover headquarters is at the Putney side for the event. The official schedule including banquet and raffle info is coming soon.

Is this a Yoda thing, or can a NISSAN slide in. I've been off all boards for some time now trying to get the house done. I'm back and trying to get my truck done for some wheeling this summer and fall.

Jamie, I'm going to try to make it. Need to get the cage in it and the glass out for starters. And need to get that rim bent back that I smashed on the lower rock garden at the fall crawl.

Feelings for me? It's the sexy helmet isn't it?

Regarding can opener and lower damnation, you're not messing around huh? Lower damnation is insanely tough when it's not dry. Better rigs than mine have broke trying it. I feel lucky that we ran it the day we did. Having said that, I'll hit it again. Very Happy

It is the helmet. Jamie, there is room for you to. Laughing I will still have stock d44 shafts. I just don't have the coin for after market ones. Just bring extra shafts. I'm hoping to get the transfer case adapter for my Dana 300 case in the next few months that will help.
