yea them 2 strokes are easy peasy. there may be some extra power to
be found in some good port work. been quite a while since i have read up
on 2 stroke porting but there used to be a book that explaned where to cut
and how much--how to polish and general blueprinting practice but the name
escapes me right now. was the top of the piston and the head combustion
chamber polished? how about the intake side of the ports? exhaust side as
well. i know those mods help the mixture flow better.

again great to hear from you and if you are ever around my area
i'd love to give ya a man hug.

new crawler in the works.

Dawg, I hope to make it to a race down that way with MidEast some time. Would love to swing by and catch up if I do.

Bad crash the other weekend at 3 Oaks. Running in 3rd, 2 sec back from 2nd and 10 back from 1st at the start of lap 3 I clipped something in the trail that I obviously didn't see. Easy section too. Bars swapped lock to lock a few times and I plowed a tree 3rd gear pinned. Destroyed a barkbuster, retired another helmet and tested the rest of my gear. Still a little banged up from that one. With speed comes risk. Kind of bummed because I was reeling in the guys in front of me and had the pace I needed to win. That place is cursed for me. I had a bad getoff there last year too.

I left the bike in the trailer for a few days and now in the garage to let it think about what it did Laughing Hoping to get some practice in locally this weekend instead of hitting up the gnarly Snowshoe GNCC.
