I got a fleet of 6. Only 3 require landscaping though.

Yanked the rear axle this weekend. Rotated my pinion angle to match my driveshaft. I was about 8* off. Now I am 1.5* below. Which is perfect. Under throttle, the pinion will tip up a degree or so making the driveshaft straight to the output.

Welded on new shock mounts and finally bolted up the bilsteins that have been on a shelf for over a year.

Moved the axle back an inch.

Drained my tcases to fix the front output seal that has been leaking since October.

Just waiting on new axle seals to come in from Marlin and she will be back together.

I let it idle for about 15 minutes the other day after I moved it out of the shop to put epoxy on the shop floor. I think it may have rained on it a little to knock the dust off.

Other than that, I havent done $h!+ to it in a while. Gotta get some rear shocks. The blingsteins were too long. Gotta straighten my front driveshaft from that ledge getting to lions den from last October. Gotta do something about my leaky PS box (cant have ATF dripping all over my new shop floor).

Well, my wife had one of those girly parties at the house last night. You know, the ones where somebody comes out with a bunch of bags and all the women drool over them and spend $10,000,000 on bags they dont need.

So, this left me with 2 hours that I could not be in the house. NO PROBLEM!!!

Finally diagnosed the noise I was getting. Removed the top of my trans tunnel and rode around the block. Got back to the shop and put the back tcase in neutral and shifted thru all the gears - no noise. I thought it may have been the bearing in the dual case adaptor. This just proved it wasnt. Jacked the ass end up on jack stands and ran it thru 2nd gear when the noise started. It was coming from the rear diff. Pulled the driveshaft and flange. Took the damned dust cover thing off and bolted everything back up. Ran it thru 5th gear and 45MPH on the jackstands with no noise. Glad that was simple.

Now, I still have a pesky steering box leak and need a new front driveshaft since I killed mine at Harlan. Gotta tighten up my valves too. This thing sounds like a diesel.
