Just wanted to start a thread of this awesome little truck's progress.


First off some pics of interior upgrades:

New radio bezel / cd player / 12v recept.


Installed and some new shift knobs and wiring for some switches


Some rustoleum bed liner in the floor boards


More to come....

Welded on some light tabs and threw on the typical Hella 500s


Aluminum panels with some bed liner to replace the vinyl door panels


New dash speakers


Front turn signals

Fresh Bling and rubbers, new shocks and hoops in the front, new front leaf springs




Upgraded the diffs to 5.29s 108:1 crawl ratio now!

Oh yeah... also have a set of tube doors to change in and out.



Flexes good but im putting longer shocks on the front and moving the ones pictured to the rear and extending bump stops.

I'd flip the ubolts and move those new turn signals to the inside of the tubing for protection.

Time for the next batch of updates / photos....

Removed the flat bed and aluminum tank... installed a 16 gallon poly tank with foam.



Painted the cab white and starting building a tube bed.









Some wheeling shots... ALSO - Got around to throwing on the 14" travel shocks on the front and extended the bumpstops.

any updates? im in a first gen now. 81 bobbed long bed. the usual mods. haven't got to do much wheelin yet. Im ready to beat on it some!
